Description of key information

After 48 hrs an EL-50 of higher than 100 mg/l was measured. The result is expressed in terms of Effective Loadings (EL). No toxic effects against daphnia were observed at an effective loading of 100 mg/L under exposure conditions (Spoo-Klöppel, 2015).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
100 mg/L

Additional information

"Should read > 100 mg/l"

The substance has not a definite or unique structure and consists of several components. Water Accommodated Fraction (WAF) was used to test effects. The stability of the test concentrations during exposure were examined by chemical analysis (DOC) and the limit of quantitation was 2 mg/L DOC.
