Description of key information

The high content of water in green liquor primarily determines the order of magnitude of the boiling point to  ca. 100 C degrees.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
105.3 °C

Additional information

The dry solids content of the tested GL1 sample is 204 g/l at 20 deg. C (17.7% dry solids/82.3% water by weight) and a sulfide content 22.5% by weight of dry solids.
