Endpoint:
explosive properties of explosives
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
The substance does not contain any functional groups identified in the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, Appendix 6, Table A6.1, as being associated with explosive properties. Therefore, according to Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex VII, 7.11, column 2, the study does not need to be performed.According to the additional criteria for classification 2.1.4.3(a), of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008, Annex I, part 2, if the molecule does not contain functional groups associated with explosive properties, the substance shall not be classified. As a result, given the lack of functional groups indicating explosive properties, thissubstance does not meet the criteria for classification under Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. The available data are considered reliable and suitable for classification.
