Endpoint:
oxidising solids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
In accordance with section 7.13 of column 2 of REACH Annex VII, it is considered justified to omit this study as evaluation of the substance’s chemical structure indicates that there are no chemical groups associated with oxidising properties present in the molecule. The substance is therefore considered to be incapable of acting exothermically with combustible materials.

Description of key information

In accordance with section 7.13 of column 2 of REACH Annex VII, it is considered justified to omit this study as evaluation of the substance’s chemical structure indicates that there are no chemical groups associated with oxidising properties present in the molecule. The substance is therefore considered to be incapable of acting exothermically with combustible materials.
