Based on the available information Tolyltriazole has to be assumed as hydrolytically stable (DT50 365 days under environmental conditions). Read-across from information available for 1H-Benzotriazole has indicated potential of Tolyltriazole for photolytical degradation in the atmosphere and in aqueous solutions. As no further abiotic degradation process has been identified the latter should be considered as major pathway for abiotic degradation in the environment.
