PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Bis(4-tert-butylcyclohexyl) peroxydicarbonate can tentatively be considered as persistent on the basis of screening level data. However, QSAR models indicate that the substance may be primarily or ultimately biodegradable (BioWin v4.10, EPISuite), hence there are no indications suggesting vP properties. Furthermore, the substance is tentatively considered as potentially bioaccumulating (but not very bioaccumulating), on the basis of QSAR calculations. The toxicity (T) criteria specified in REACH Annex XIII are not fulfilled. Therefore, bis(4-tert-butylcyclohexyl) peroxydicarbonate does not qualify for categorisation as PBT.
