Additional information

It was technically not possible to verify if bis(4-tert-butylcyclohexyl) peroxydicarbonate undergoes hydrolytical degradation when dissolved in water. The reason for this is that it proved to be impossible to verify if the detected breakdown products are true transformation products formed during hydrolysis or artefacts due to decomposition of the parent in the analytical equipment. For the purpose of risk assessment bis(4-tert-butylcyclohexyl) peroxydicarbonate is thus considered to be stable against hydrolysis.
