Description of key information

In a GLP study in accordance with EC test method A.3 and OECD Guideline 109, the density of zirconium acetate was determined to be 1.87 g/mL at 22.0 ± 0.5 °C, applying the gas comparison pycnometer method (Fox, 2013).

Additional information

In a GLP study in accordance with EC test method A.3 and OECD Guideline 109, the density of zirconium acetate was determined to be 1.87 g/mL at 22.0 ± 0.5 °C, applying the gas comparison pycnometer method (Fox, 2013). The slightly deviating test temperature (22.0°C instead of 20°C) is not considered to significantly influence the density for this solid substance.
