- The majority (82.6 %) of the particles were foud to be in the size of >500 µm.
The particle size distribution of the paticles < than 500 µm has a median particle size of d 50= 393 µm which was determined by laser diffraction - Executive summary:
The majority (82.6 %) of the test item particles were foud to be in the size of >500 µm.
The particle size distribution of the test item sample fraction after sieving with a 500 µm sieve was determined by means of Laser Diffraction Analysis using the medium volume (wet) module (MVM).
The d50 of the test item sample fraction after sieving with a 500 µm sieve was determined to be 393 µm, the d10 was 95.8 µm and the d90 was 743 µm. The MMAD of the test item sample fraction after sieving with a 500 µm sieve, for the relative density and the mean d50, was calculated to be 326 µm.

Description of key information
A Particle Size Analysis is executed by Charles River on diphenyl sulphone. This study is according to method ISO 13320:2009 Particle Size –Laser Diffraction Methods. 2009. In preparation to this Particle Size-laser diffraction method the test item was sieved with a 500 µm sieve.
