Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice : First aider needs to protect himself.
Place affected clothing in a sealed bag for subsequent decontamination.
Inhalation : Move to fresh air.
Skin contact : Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off with soap and plenty of water.
Consult a physician if necessary.
Eye contact : Rinse with running water whilst keeping the eyes wide open (at least 15 minutes) If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
Ingestion : Do NOT induce vomiting.Rinse mouth with water
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media : Water spray, Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Unsuitable extinguishing media : None known.Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Specific hazards during firefighting : Combustible.
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighters : Self-contained breathing apparatus (EN 133) Full protective suit
Specific fire fighting methods : Cool containers / tanks with water spray.
Do not inhale fumes.
Further information : Cool containers / tanks with water spray.
In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
: Avoid contact with the skin and the eyes.
Do not breathe dust.
Wear suitable protective equipment.
Methods for Cleaning or Taking Up
Recovery : Keep in properly labelled containers.
Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Decontamination/cleaning : Wash off with plenty of water.
Disposal : Treat recovered material as described in the section "Disposal considerations".
Handling and storage
Handling
Technical measures : Earth the equipment.
Advice on safe handling and usage : Take precautionary measures against static discharges.Avoid dust formation.Keep away from fire, sparks and heated surfaces.
Storage
Technical Measures for storage : The floor of the depot should be impermeable and designed to form a watertight basin.
Storage conditions
Recommended : Protect against light. Keep container tightly closed and dry.
Packaging Measures
Packaging conditions : Watertight packaging., Plastic bottles., glass bottles
Packaging materials - Recommended : Polyethylene, Tinted glass.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control measures
Engineering measures : Effective exhaust ventilation system
Personal protective equipment:
Eye protection : Safety glasses (tightly fitting safety goggles)
Skin and body protection : Suitable glove protection: HPPE Laminated Film (thickness: 2.5 mm) and dust impervious protective suit when appropriate (Tyvek Classic)
Substance/task mask when appropriate (Respirator with a particle filter (EN 143)).
Hygiene measures : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Protective measures : The protective equipment must be selected in accordance with current CEN
standards and in cooperation with the supplier of the protective equipment.
Selection of appropriate personal protective equipment should be based on an evaluation of the performance characteristics of the protective equipment relative to the task(s) to be performed, conditions present, duration of use, and the potential hazards and/or risks that may occur during use.
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Risk Management Measures to control aqueous release: Do not let product enter drains.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability : Stable at room temperature.
Hazardous reactions
Materials to avoid : Reacts with the following substances: Strong bases
Decomposition products : On combustion or on thermal decomposition (pyrolysis) releases: Toxic Gas: (Carbon oxides (CO + CO2)).(Phenol).
Disposal considerations
Advice on cleaning and disposal of packaging
Advice : Cleaning is not required prior to disposal.
Reason for waste disposal : Dispose of contents/ container to an approved incineration plant.
Other data : Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
