In accordance with column 2, point 9.4, Annex IX of Regulation No. 1907/2006, studies investigating the effects on terrestrial organisms do not need to be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. On this basis, testing is omitted as release to the environment is expected to be negligible. Furthermore, in accordance with section 1 of Regulation No. 1907/2006, Annex XI, testing on terrestrial organisms does not need to be conducted as the hazard assessment performed during the chemical safety assessment concludes that the substance is not classified and is of no immediate concern to the environment. The available data are adequate for classification and labelling, and PBT assessment, purposes.
