Description of key information

The toxicity to fish was studied in an acute fish test according to OECD 203. Fish (Danio rerio) were exposed over 96 hours to a saturated solution of the test substance. No effects were observed at the saturated solution (0.026 mg/L). Therefore, the LC50 is higher than a saturated solution.

The toxicity to aquatic invertebrates was studied in Daphnia magna according to OECD 202. The daphnids were exposed to different concentrations of the test compound over a period of 48 hours. The 48h-EC50 was determined with 0.04 mg/L.

The toxicity to microorganisms was studied in a bacteria growth test wih Pseudomonas putida according to DIN 38412 L8. The microbial organisms were incubated with the test substance over a period of 16 hours. No effect on growth was observed at the highest concentration tested (4.3 mg/L). Thus, the 16h-EC50 was higher than 4.3 mg/L.
