Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
If adverse health effects develop seek medical attention
If inhaled: After inhalation of dust: fresh air
On skin contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water
On contact with eyes: rinse immediately for at least 15 minutes with plenty of water. Seeek medical attention, if necessary.
On ingestion: Rinse mouth and drink 200-300 ml water.
Symptoms: no significant symptoms are expected due to non-classification of the product
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: water spray, dry foam, foam.
Unsuitable: carbon dioxide
Special hazards arising from the substance: carbon oxides, nitrogen oxide; dust explosion hazard.
Advice for fire-fighters: Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Use personal protective clothing, avoid dust formation.
Environmental precautions: Do not discharge into drains/surface waters/ groundwater.
Methods and material for containment and clean-up: For small amounts: Pick up with suitable appliance and dispose of.
For large amounts: Contain with dust binding material and dispose of. Dispose of absorbed material in accordance with regulations.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Handle inaccordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Protection against fire and explosion: Avoid dust formation. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Avoid all sources of ignition, heat, sparks, open flame.
Dust explosion class 2.
Conditions for safe staorage, including any imcompatibilities:
Suitable material for containers: high density polyethylene (HDPE), low density polyethylene (LDPE)
No special precautions necessary. Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures: avoid dust formation
2. Organisational protection measures: avoid dust formation
3. Hand protection: No special protection needed under normal conditions of use
4. Body protection: Body protection must be chosen depending on activity and possible exposure, e.g. apron; protection boots, chemical protection suit (EN 14605 in case of splashes, EN13982 in case of dust
5. Eye protection: safety glasses with side shields (frame goggles, e.g. EN166)
7. Respiratory protection: Breathing protection if dusts are formed
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: No hazardous reactions, if stored and handles as prescribed/ indicated.
Corrosivity to metals: no corrosive effect on mteal
Chemical stability: Stable if stored and handled as prescribed/indicated.
Incompatible materials: No substances known that should be avoided.
Disposal considerations
Must be disposed of or incinerated in accordance with local regulations.
