Additional information

Based upon the results of the analysis of the aqueous samples of the 24 hours samples taken in the adsorption kinetics experiment, the logarithm of the adsorption coefficient Kd (Log Kd) in the various soils ranged from 3.9 - 5.0 and normalised for organic carbon (Log Koc) it ranged from 5.7 - 6.8. Using USEPA KOCWIN v. 2.0, the calculated Log Koc for the substance was between 6.4 to 10.5. These results indicate that the substance will bind very strongly to the organic portion of soils and sediments.
