First-aid measures
General advice : Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
First aider needs to protect himself. Place affected clothing in a sealed bag for subsequent decontamination.
Inhalation : If inhaled, remove to fresh air. Keep at rest. Consult a physician if necessary.
Skin contact : Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. In case of skin contact: Wash off with soap and plenty of water.
Wash immediately and thoroughly for a prolonged period (at least 15 minutes). Call a physician if irritation develops or persists.
Eye contact : Rinse with running water whilst keeping the eyes wide open (at least 15 minutes)
If eye irritation persists, consult a physician
Ingestion : Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: All extinguishing agents can be used.
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: None known.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Specific hazards during fire fighting: Harmful or toxic vapours are released.
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: For further information refer to section 8 "Exposure controls/personal protection".
Specific fire fighting methods: Evacuate personnel to safe areas.
Cool containers / tanks with water spray.
Wear suitable protective equipment.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency
procedures: Avoid contact with the skin and the eyes.
Do not breathe vapour.
Wear suitable protective equipment.
Do not allow uncontrolled discharge of product into the environment.
Personal protective equipment
Eye/face protection
PVC or other plastic material gloves
For further information refer to section 8 "Exposure controls/personal protection".
Collect spillage.
Measures for separation from incompatible substances and mixtures
Environmental precautions : Prevent product from entering drains.
Contain the spilled material by bunding.
Treat recovered material as described in the section "Disposal considerations".
Methods for Cleaning or Taking Up
Recovery : Soak up with inert absorbent material.
Keep in properly labelled containers.
Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Decontamination/cleaning : Wash off with plenty of water.
Recover the cleaning water for subsequent disposal.
Disposal : Dispose of contents/ container to an approved waste disposal plant.
Handling and storage
Handling
Technical measures : Provide adequate ventilation.
Advice on safe handling andusage: Avoid the formation or spread of mists in the atmosphere.
Do not heat the product.
Do NOT handle without gloves.
Storage
Technical Measures for storage : Does not require any specific or particular measures.
Storage conditions
Recommended : Keep in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Keep container tightly closed.
Keep away from incompatible materials to be indicated by the manufacturer.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control measures
Engineering measures : Provide adequate ventilation.
Avoid splashes.
Personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection : Use a respirator with an approved filter if a risk assessment indicates this is necessary.
If mist is formed: Self-contained breathing apparatus.
Hand protection : Impervious gloves
The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications
of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.
Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion, and the contact time.
Gloves must be inspected prior to use.
Gloves should be discarded and replaced if there is any
indication of degradation or chemical breakthrough.
Eye protection : Goggles, Face-shield
Skin and body protection : impervious clothing. Boots
Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place.
Remove and wash contaminated clothing.
Hygiene measures : Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location.
Use clean, well-maintained personal protection equipment.
Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.
When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Protective measures : The protective equipment must be selected in accordance with current CEN standards and in cooperation with the supplier of the protective equipment. Selection of appropriate personal protective equipment should be based on an evaluation of the performance characteristics of the protective equipment relative to the task(s) to be performed, conditions present, duration of use, and the potential hazards and/or risks that may occur during use.
General advice : Prevent product from entering drains.
Contain the spilled material by bunding.
Treat recovered material as described in the section "Disposal considerations".
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability : Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Hazardous reactions
Conditions to avoid : May decompose: on heating.
Materials to avoid : Strong oxidizing agents
Decomposition products : On combustion or on thermal decomposition (pyrolysis) releases: harmful and corrosive vapours.
Oxides of phosphorus
(Carbon oxides (CO + CO2)).
Disposal considerations
Product Disposal
Prohibition : Should not be released into the environment.
Advice on Disposal : Refer to manufacturer/supplier for information on
recovery/recycling.
Dispose of as hazardous waste in compliance with local and
national regulations.
Do NOT put down the drain. Must undergo physico-chemical
treatment prior to disposal.
Advice on cleaning and disposal of packaging
Measures for waste avoidance. : Do NOT dispose of untreated packaging with industrial waste.
Advice : Rinse with an appropriate solvent.
Allow it to drain thoroughly.
After recovery of solvent dispose of by special waste incineration.
Reason for waste disposal : Reuse or recycle following decontamination.
Other data : Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
