Room temperature : 20°C

Atmospheric pressure 99.5 to 100.6 KPa

Conclusions:
The test item has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 430 +/-5°C.
Executive summary:

The determination was carried out using a procedure according to Method A15 Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and according to GLP. No deviation from the guideline was observed.

The test flask was heated in a flask heater. Aliquots of test item were injected into the flask and the flask observed for signs of ignition over a 300 second period. This procedure was repeated, varying the sample size, as necessary, until the lowest temperature at which ignition, if any, occurred 300 seconds of insertion, was determined.

The test item has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 430 +/-5°C at atmospheric pressure (99.5 to 100.6KPa).

Description of key information

Experimental value of auto-ignition for the test item at 99.5 to 100.6 kPa: 430 +/-5°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
430 °C

Additional information

The determination was carried out using a procedure according to Method A15 Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and according to GLP. No deviation from the guideline was observed.
