Atmospheric pressure : 100.6 kPa

Corrected flash point : 148.167°C

Conclusions:
The flash point of the test item has been determined to be 148 +/-2°C.
Executive summary:

The determination was carried out using a procedure according to Method A9 Flash Point of Commission Regulation (EC) No 400/2008 of May 30 2008 and according to GLP. No deviation form the guideline was observed.

An aliquot of the test item was injected into the sample cup of the Setaflash 30000.0 tester. The sample was heated and allowed to equilibrate at the set temperature. The test flame was introducted into the sample cup for approximately 21/2 seconds by sliding the cup shutter open. This was repeated until the lowest reproducible temperature at which a flash occurred, using a fresh sample, was determined. The flash point was corrected for the atmospheric pressure.

The flash point of the test item has been determined to be 148 +/-2°C at atmospheric pressure (101.325 kPa).

Description of key information

Experimental value of flash point for the test item at 101 325Pa: 148°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
148 °C

Additional information

The determination was carried out using a procedure according to Method A9 Flash Point of Commission Regulation (EC) No 400/2008 of May 30 2008 and according to GLP. No deviation from the Guidelines was observed.

The flash point was corrected for the atmospheric pressure.
