Conclusion on classification

It is proposed thatdisilane, chloro Me derivs. should not be classified in the EU for acute or chronic toxicity, on the basis of toxicity data read-across from related substances.

The rapid hydrolysis of the substance and the low log Kowof the silanol hydrolysis products indicate that the classification R53 should not apply.
