Administrative data

First-aid measures

Eye contact:       Flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes, lifting eyelids. If eye irritation persists, consult a physician immediately.

Skin contact:       Wash the affected area with water. Take off contaminated clothes. Consult a physician immediately in case skin irritation persists.

Ingestion:       If swallowed, rinse mouth with plenty of water, provided person is conscious. Get medical advice if adverse symptoms appear.

Inhalation:       If inhaled, move person to fresh air. Get medical advice if adverse symptoms appear.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:       water spray, CO2, dry powder, foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: not known.

Hazardous combustion products: combustion may produce toxic fumes containing COx, NOx.

Advice for firefighters: cool containers with water jets. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), protective equipments for eyes and face, boots, gloves, complying with the relevant EN standards.

Accidental release measures

Stop the spill if it can be done safely. Prevent contamination of surface and ground waters, sewers, soil. Collect the material with mechanic means, wearing appropriate protective equipment, and store in a clean and appropriate waste disposal container. Wash the area with water.

Handling and storage

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Avoid contact with strong acids and bases.

Avoid  exposure to heat sources. In the case of heating, the product can release ammonia. Do not use on hot surfaces.

Store in a cool, well ventilated, dry place; at temperatures above 5 ° C. Keep containers tightly closed.  Store in containers correctly labeled.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Respiratory protection: musk with approved filter

Skin protection: protective clothing, rubber or polythene gloves.

Eye protection: goggles.

Other protective systems: every personal protective equipment (PPE) useful for reducing the individual exposure.

Stability and reactivity

The substance is considered stable under normal conditions of use and storage.

Elements to avoid: Strong oxidizing agents, acids and basis.

Disposal considerations

Dispose in accordance with national, state and local laws.
