Description of key information

Calculated pKa= 11 at 25°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test compound is insoluble in water thus an experimental determination of the dissociation constant is not possible.

Since the test compound has one dissociable functional groups (-OH) thus in addition the dissociation constant have been calculated using

recommended software SPARC and yielded a value of pKa= 11 at 25°C. An ionisable substance with a pKa above 10 will tend not dissociate in water under normal environmental conditions.
