Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Specific details on test material used for the study:
PROCEDURE
- Sample:
Aliquots (0.0056 g and 0.0066 g) of test material were placed in aluminium crucibles, which had been scratched with a needle to aid crystallisation.

- Analysis:
The DSC parameters were as follows:
Calorimeter: Mettler Toledo DSC822e
ThermoHaake Cooler EK45/MT
Temperature program:
* initial: - 20.0°C for 20 minutes
* rate: 5.0°C/min
* final: 50.0°C
Atmosphere: air (static)

- Calibration:
The temperature accuracy of the DSC was assessed using an indium reference standard (purity*99.999%). The melting temperature was determined to be 156.7°C and within the defined tolerance (156.6 ± 0.5°C). The DSC was therefore considered acceptable for use.

- Calculation:
Measured temperatures were converted from °C to K using the following equation:
T = t + 273.15
where T = temperature (K) and t = temperature (°C)

Key result
Melting / freezing pt.:
22.15 °C
Decomposition:
no
