Conclusion on classification

According to Annex VI of Directive 67/548/EEC, Dowfax 2A1 is classified as R51/53, “toxic to aquatic organisms” and “may cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment” since the lowest acute toxicity values fall between 1 and 10 mg/L and Dowfax 2A1 is inherently, but not readily, biodegradable.
