EC50 for freshwater algae:
480 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
24 mg/L

Additional information

There is one study with algae available for 2-amino-1,3-propanediol (APD), which was used as key study for the assessment. The study was conducted according the OECD guideline 201 and GLP (Soucy, 2011). The test organism Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was exposed to APD in a static system for 72 hours, at the test concentrations 11, 24, 55, 150, 390, 980 mg a.i./L. An EC50 of 480 mg/L and a NOEC of 24 mg/L were obtained, based on growth rate.
