Additional information

There is one short-term aquatic invertebrate study available for 2-amino-1,3-propanediol (APD), which was used as key study for the assessment. The study was conducted according to OECD guideline 202 and GLP (Urann, 2011). The test organism Daphnia magna was exposed to APD in a static system for 48 hours, at the test concentrations 69, 130, 250, 510 and 980 mg a.i./L. A significant effect was only observed at the highest concentration, with 100% immobility. As a result an EC50 value of 660 mg/L was obtained.
