Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
The acute toxicity (96-h LC50) of aqueous stable iodine species iodide were measured to Rainbow Trout: LC50 ≥ 860 mg/L.
Executive summary:

The 96 hours acute toxicity test to Rainbow Trout was conducted according to Protocol to determine the acute lethality of liquid effluents to fish, which was established by Ontario Ministry of the Environment. The results show that the 96 hour LC50 is over 860 mg/l.
