Additional information

The temperature dependence of the vapour pressure was determined with the Knudsen effusion method using a vapour pressure balance in the temperature range 82-120 °C.

The following vapour pressures were calculated for 20, 25 and 30 °C using a semilogarithmic linear regression based on the Antoin equation to be (with 95 %confidence intervall) :

                                   P20 = 3.7 · 10-7 Pa (1.4 · 10-7- 1.0 · 10-6 Pa)

                                   P25 = 7.9 · 10-7 Pa (3.1 · 10-7 - 2.0 · 10-6 Pa)

                                     P30 = 1.7 · 10-6 Pa (7.1 · 10-7 - 3.9 · 10-6 Pa)

Mesterolonacetat is considered to be nonvolatile in aqueous solution according to estimations of the Henry constant.
