- Lot/batch No.: 180517GT41
- Expiration date of the lot/batch: 31 December 2017
- Appearance: Beige pasty solid
- Storage: At room temperature
Key result
Temp.:
20 °C
Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
Temp.:
25 °C
Vapour pressure:
0 Pa

Weight loss was observed from the start of the measurements up to 140°C. This was due to evaporation of volatile components (i.e. solvent, impurities).

The vapour pressure regression curve of the log PT of the test item as function of the reciprocal temperatures was: log PT = -6619 × 1/T + 16.19 (r = 0.998, n = 8).

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the test item was 4.1 x 10-7 Pa at 20°C and 9.9 x 10-7 Pa at 25°C.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined in a GLP-compliant study performed in accordance with EU A.4 Method and OECD Guideline No. 104, using the thermogravimetric effusion method. The vapour pressure of the test item was 4.1 x 10-7 Pa at 20°C and 9.9 x 10-7 Pa at 25°C.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined in a GLP-compliant study performed in accordance with EU A.4 Method and OECD Guideline No. 104, using the thermogravimetric effusion method. The vapour pressure of the test item was 4.1 x 10-7 Pa at 20°C and 9.9 x 10-7 Pa at 25°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined in one non-GLP study performed in accordance with standard methods, without deviations. The study is considered as reliable (Klimisch 1) and was selected as a key study for the endpoint.
