Conclusions:
An auto-ignition temperature value of 230°C at 998-1011 hPa was determined for the substance using a relevant test method and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable.

Description of key information

Auto-ignition temperature: 230°C at 998-1011 hPa (DIN 51794)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
230 °C

Additional information

A measured auto-ignition temperature value of 230°C at 998-1011 hPa was determined according to EC test method A. 15 and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study.

In a secondary source to which reliability could not be assigned, an auto-ignition temperature value of 225°C was reported for the substance.
