Description of key information
The calculations by EPI Suite show, that quinic acid is readily biodegradable.

The given biodegradability is calculated from BIOWIN v4.10 using the models BioWin3 and BioWin5. From the combined results it can be concluded, that the quinic acid is readily biodegradable. Nevertheless, the EPA recommends that EPI Suite is a screening-level tool and should not be used if acceptable measured values are available. However, empirical studies have not been done, so that we have to consider, that the substance is readily biodegradable.
