Additional information

The test substance is a mixture of 2 compounds (1:3, polycarboxylic acid and alkanolamine) and contains water.

As the experimental data and the estimated value, respectively of both compounds showed clearly outside of any classification ranges thus the flash point has been derived from the single compound. The representative compound for polycarboxylic acid is referred to the substance with CAS number 80584-91-4 and the representative compound for alkanolamine is referred to the substance with CAS number 102-71-6.

The data given on flash point of each compound are as follows:

1) Polycarboxylic acid : 375°C, estimated using T.E.S.T. Version 4.1

2) Alkanolamine: 179°C, closed cup

It can be suggested that the flash point is greater than 100°C.
