EC number: 701-241-0
CAS number: -
Short-term aquatic toxicity tests investigating the whole substance were
conducted with fish (Oncorhynchus mykiss), invertebrates (Daphnia
magna) and algae (Desmodesmus subspicatus). The relevant
short-term effect concentration values are:
Fish: LL50(96 h): 18 mg/L nominal loading rate concentration
or LC506.8 mg/L geometric mean measured concentration;
Daphnia: EL50(48 h): 35 mg/L nominal loading rate
concentration or EC5014 mg/L geometric mean measured
Algae: EL50(72 h): >180 mg/L nominal loading rate
concentration or EC50>34 mg/L geometric mean measured
concentration; NOEL: 80 mg/L nominal loading rate concentration or NOEC
18 mg/L geometric mean measured concentration.
Measured data for the registered
substance are taken into consideration for overall hazard classification
but due to the UVCB nature of the substance, these are not useful for
the purposes of toxicity (‘T’) assessment or for setting PNECs for
environmental risk characterisation.
