Description of key information

Triallyl isocyanurate has a low bioaccumulation potential.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of Annex IX 9.3.2 of EC 1907/2006 bioaccumulation testing in aquatic species is not required because triallyl isocyanurate has a low potential for bioaccumulation (log Kow < 3). The log Kow of triallyl isocyanurate was experimentally determined as 1.92. Hence, it can be concluded that the bioaccumulation potential is low and no further testing is necessary.
