Description of key information

log Pow measured at 2.2 at 25 °C (pH 5-6) and 1.64 (pH 6.2 - 6.3) and ACD (Q)SAR estimation at 1.77 is supporting this result.
The mean value of the both measured results is log pow 1.92@25 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
1.92
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The partition coefficient of the substance triallyl isocyanurate was determined according to OECD Guideline 117 and EU Method A.8 (HPLC method, 2003 -0624 -DNP) as well as in a further experiment (see 2000 -0678 -FGP). The QSAR estimation (ACD, 2012 -0284 -DKB) is supporting. Other available QSAR result (EPISUITE, 2001 -0014 -DKB) drastically overestimate the log pow result. We concluded that this result is not in the applicability domain. The mean value of the both measured results is log pow 1.92@25 °C.
