Additional information

Considering the high water solubility (3.5 g/L) and the low potential for adsorption to organic soil and sediment particles (log Koc 2.43) of triallyl isocyanurate, the main compartment for environmental distribution is the water phase. The substance is hydrolytically stable (DT50 > 24 h at pH 7.1 to 8.8) and is not readily biodegradable. Furthermore, the substance has a low value for log Kow (1.92) and therefore bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms is not to be expected.
