Additional information

Two reliable proprietary studies are available 2-methylbut-2-ene, both of which showed the substance as not readily biodegradable. The study by Huntingdon (2004), which is GLP compliant and follows OECD guideline 301D using non-adapted predominantly domestic sewage, showed 7 % biodegradation after 28 days. The study by ExxonMobil (2005), which is GLP compliant and follows OECD guideline 301F using non-adapted domestic activated sludge, showed no biodegradation after 28 days.
