Description of key information

No toxic effects on emergence and growth have been observed in studies with terrestrial plants.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a seedling emergence and seedling growth test with three plant species (wheat, rape and lettuce), the test substance had no effect on the germination rate or on the growth of the plants up to and including the highest test concentration of 100 mg/kg soil dry weight (RCC Ltd. 2004). No visual phytotoxic symptoms were observed for all species up to and including the highest test concentration of 100 mg/kg soil dry weight. Therefore, the 14 -day NOEC for emergence and growth was 100 mg/kg soil dry weight, the LC50 for emergence was > 100 mg/kg soil dry weight and the EC50 for growth was > 100 mg/kg soil dry weight.
