Additional information

Data on the toxicity to terrestrial plants are available. In a seedling emergence and seedling growth test with three plant species (wheat, rape and lettuce), the test substance had no effect on the germination rate or on the growth of the plants up to and including the highest test concentration of 100 mg/kg soil dry weight. No visual phytotoxic symptoms were observed for all species up to and including the highest test concentration of 100 mg/kg soil dry weight. Therefore, the 14 -day NOEC for emergence and growth was 100 mg/kg soil dry weight, the LC50 for emergence was > 100 mg/kg soil dry weight and the EC50 for growth was > 100 mg/kg soil dry weight. Since no toxic effects occurred up to the highest tested concentrations, toxicity to other terrestrial organisms are not expected either. However, an environmental exposure assessment was performed in order to determine possible risks of the test compound to all environmental compartments. According to the results of the exposure assessment, all the relevant uses of the test substance are considered to be safe with a Risk Characterization Ratio below 1.

Therefore, studies on the toxicity to other terrestrial organisms are not provided.
