Conclusion on classification

The substance is not readily biodegradable. Aquatic toxicity studies are available for two trophic levels, i.e. algae and aquatic invertebrates.

The NOEC for algae was 0.05 mg/L (nominal). The most sensitive EC50 values is also derived from the algae study, i.e. 0.225 mg/L (nominal).

Therefore, the substance is classified as Aquatic Acute 1 (H400) and Aquatic Chronic 1 (H410), according to (EC) No 1272/2008.
