Results and discussion

Results:
The authors referenced several papers in Chinese language reporting changes in blood cell counts as a result of formaldehyde exposure. Eight studies have been conducted in China concerning hematological parameters in formaldehyde-exposed humans and published mainly in Chinese journals. The majority of the studies show that longterm exposure can decrease the number of WBC and possibly lower platelet and hemoglobin counts.
