Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
76 °C

Additional information

A measured flash point of 76°C was determined for the substance using a relevant closed-cup method. Although full details are not available, the result is considered to be reliable and selected as key study. The key study is supported by a measured flash point of 85°C which was determined for the substance using a relevant test method (DIN 51758). The supporting study is in good agreement with the key study.

A flash point of 76°C, with a measured boiling point of ca. 202°C, indicates that the substance should not be classified as a flammable liquid according to the criteria of Regulation 1272/2008/EC.
