Additional information

A toxicokinetic study is not available. So an accurate evaluation of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion is not possible. However, it can be deduced from the repeated dose toxicity studies and from the studies on reproduction that an absorption of the substance occurs because systemic effects are seen at least at the hepatic level. The extent of this absorption is unknown.

Effects were seen in the foetus and in the pups however, they were not related to the substance but to maternal toxicity and to normal historical variations. So it is not possible to conclude about a possible transfer of the product in the placenta.

No further conclusion can be drawn from the available data about the distribution, metabolism or excretion processes.
