Description of key information

In the key short-term study with 3 different plant species, the results baised on growth are as follows: Lolium Perenne EC50, 4 d: >100 mg/kg dry soil; Brassica Rapa EC50, 2 d: 100 mg/kg dry soil; Vicia sativa EC50, 2 d: >100 mg/kg dry soil

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The toxicity to terrestrial plant was assessed according to OECD guideline 208 with ryegrass (Lolium perenne), turnip (Brassica rapa), and vetch (Vicia sativa). Emergence of seedlings was not retarded at 100 mg/kg dry soil with all plant species. Growth of the seedlings of Brassica Rapa was inhibited at 100 mg/kg in relation to the blank, but not of the other plants. No visible phytotoxic effects were observed on all three plant species. Toxicity to three different plant species: Emergence: LC50, 2-4d: >100 mg/kg dry soil Growth, Lolium Perenne EC50, 4 d*: >100 mg/kg dry soil Growth, Brassica Rapa EC50, 2 d*: 100 mg/kg dry soil Growth, Vicia sativa EC50, 2 d*: >100 mg/kg dry soil * number of days until 50% of the seedlings have emerged in the blank.
