Description of key information

The study was performed in accordance to OECD 211. The NOEC for length of time for appearance of first brood is 0.00028 mg/L. The NOEC for the total cumulative number of young daphnids is 0.00028 mg/L, the NOEC for fraction of cumulative dead is 0.28 mg/L. The EC50 for immobilization is >0.28 mg/L, the respective NOEC is 0.0045 mg/L.

Additional information

The long term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates was assessed according to OECD guideline 211. The test was conducted out under semi static conditions with renewal of the test solutions thrice a week at concentrations of 0.00028 mg/l to 0.07 mg/l. The respective NOEC for length of time for appearance of first brood is 0.00028 mg/l, the LOEC 0.0011 mg/l. The NOEC for the fraction of cumulative number of dead young is 0.00028 mg/l, the NOEC for fraction of cumulative dead young is 0.28 mg/l. The EC50for immobilization if >0.28 mg/l, the respective NOEC 0.0045 mg/l. The concentrations are based on actual concentrations calculated on the basis of the recovery of stock solutions. The substance was dispersed in the test water without vehicle. Due to the very low water solubility it is assumed that the compound was not fully solubilized but at least partially present as a suspension.
