Description of key information

The estimated half life of Distillates (Petroleum), steam-cracked, dimerised (C5-12, C10-rich) is 0.075 - 5.49 d based on a recommended rate constant of 1.95E-12 - 1.43E-10 cm3/molecule/second.

The BIOHCwin and BIOWIN models predict that the majority of the constituents are expected to be biodegradable. For this reason, the substance is considered to be inherently biodegradable.

A measured BCF is not available for any constituents of this substance. BCF have been calculated for the constituents of this substance. The predicted BCF values range from 1 to 199 L/kg ww. Of the eleven constituents, none have a BCF value of greater than 2000 L/kg ww.

The adsorption of constituents in this susbtance has been predicted by calculating the log Koc of the constituents with KOCWIN.The predicted log Koc of constituents in this substance range from 1.85 - 3.46.
