Appearance of the samples

Before the test the appearance of Sodium (2-butoxyethoxy) acetate was light yellow viscous liquid. After the experiments, the test item did not change in the crucible.

The freezing point of Sodium (2-butoxyethoxy) acetate was determined to be -29.3 °C (243.9 K).
Executive summary:

For the determination of the freezing point of test item differential scanning calorimetry method was used according OECD TG 102. Applying 0.5 °C/min heating and cooling rate the freezing point of Sodium (2-butoxyethoxy) acetate was determined to be -29.3 °C (243.9 K).
