The flash point of the test item was determined in a study according EU method A.9. The test was performed with the help of MINIFLASH FLPH TOUCH automatic flash point tester with the continuously closed cup – electric arc method according to ASTM D7094. No flash point was observed up to 200 °C.
Reference
The flash point of the reference substance Dodecane was determined to be 78.5 and 79.6°C, hardly deviating from the literature value (78.6°C, ASTM D 7094). In case of the test item three replicate tests were carried out. The measured flash points of sodium (2-butoxyethoxy) acetate: no flash point was observed up to 200°C.
