Hydrolysis will not significantly contribute to the removal of the test substance from the environment. The hydrolysis half-life was calculated as follows (at 25 degree C)pH 7, half-life = 46.2 dayspH 8, half-life = 4.6 days
from the EPI-Suite v4.11 fugacity Level III distribution model (US EPA
that because of its low water solubility, the test substance is not
expected to partition to the water compartment (see Section 4.2.3). However,
abiotic degradation of any trace amounts of the test substance which may
be present in aquatic environments is unlikely to occur at a significant
rate based on modeled data. The HYDROWIN model, a subroutine within the
US EPA EPI-Suite v4.11 computer program, estimates a hydrolysis
half-life for the test substance 46.2 day at pH 7 (25°C) and 4.6
days at pH 8 (25°C).
