Additional information

The examination of the water solubility at 20 °C of propyl gallate was conducted in triplicate according to OECD Guideline 105 ("Water Solubility", Adopted: 27. July 1995). The determination of the concentration of propyl gallate was carried out with UV/VIS spectroscopy by external calibration at 272 nm. Moreover, the pH of each sample solution was measured, and the Tyndall effect was examined.
