Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Where appropriate, Predicted No Environmental Effect Concentrations (PNECs) have been calculated using the results of environmental toxicity tests and applying default assessments factors.

Conclusion on classification

Classification for environmental effects is not justified based on the lack of toxicity in acute tests in three aquatic taxa (i.e. fish 96-hr LC50: >100 mg/L; Daphnia 48-hr EC50: >100 mg/L; algae 72-hr ErC50: >50 mg/L) and low toxicity in long-term tests in two aquatic taxa (i.e. Daphnia 21-day NOEC: 4.04 mg/L; algae 72-hr NOEC: 25 mg/L). The substance is concluded to be readily biodegradable but failing the 10-day window and has low bioaccumulation potential.
