Additional information

Abiotic degradation is the primary route of degradation for this substance. Indirect and direct photolysis is rapid with an overall photolysis half-life of 0.51 days. In the absence of natural or simulated sunlight, half-lives in aerated static water were 13.4 and 33.6 days at 2.5 and 25 mg/L. This substance is stable to hydrolysis as the substance has no hydrolysable functional groups. These results show that abiotic degradation occurs readily when exposed to light and in oxygenated water.
